Naturally Healing Haircuts, A VISION, NOW A REALITY

In 2021, I began this website and namesake to explore taking up more space. Inviting people into my vision for what I felt a haircut could be, and do, for somebody when the intention shifted from a quick trim, to an opportunity to connect.

Up until now, I have been under the umbrella of salons owned and operated by other folks, and for the first time, I am stepping out, taking up even more space, and opening my very own private salon studio.

Naturally Healing Haircuts will be a sanctuary for myself and others in the community, to enter and relax into a more loving, tended to version of ourselves. Where your hair and your heart is held in high regard.

I invite you to join me in my new environment, to experience the warm, inviting, and personalized hair care experience that truly reflect my hearts desire.

This private salon space is a culmination and reflection of everything that I’ve experienced and grown through so far, and I am more than ready for the opportunities, and speed bumps, along the way!

Growth and changes are always on the horizon.

In all aspects of life, it is important to allow for new perspectives. To allow room for our differences and our uniqueness, for people to feel a sense of belonging. That people may feel safe being radically authentic in their self-expression and the way they take up space.

It is deeply important to me to operate my business in a way that reflects loving inclusion, by offering services where the price is based off of timing, the duration of the session, not gender.

My hope in shifting my policy & systems used to book, will allow me to further create aligned clientele, as living authentically pushes people that are for you, towards you, and vice versa.

My name is Christiana (pronounced Cris-Tee-Ah-Nuh).
Over the last decade, I have had the joyous and challenging privilege of being a hairstylist. Learning and expanding in my career and craft of hair artistry over the years, all the while learning, growing, and becoming more self-aware as an individual out in the world. From understanding and sitting with my own sensitivities and special needs as highly sensitive person, I extend my offerings as a hairstylist, a space that celebrates your whole self. That no matter what your age, body size, identity, sensory needs, or gender expression may be, you are welcomed here.

Working with people, co-creating a safe space, and connecting over a haircut is truly my calling & passion, to the core, so, your curiosity has allowed our paths to meet at this space. Thank you for being here!

To feel whole, we need to feel heard. My craft is creating a personalized experience of healing and transformation, with haircuts that grow out effortlessly. Whether you know exactly what you want, or not, this will be a hair cutting experience you wont forget. Welcoming ALL hair types from fine & straight, to curly & textured. The purpose of our session is to rid the brittle and heavy ends, right? We are also releasing stuck and stagnant energy, so that we may get clear on what we want, while allowing our whole self to be seen & supported, just as we are. Here and now, through it all.

Love is, after all, at the root of all healing. Love is a noun, though it is also an action word. My own journey of accepting and loving myself, brought me to my spiritual path —seeing all Beings as worthy of love, acceptance, and celebration, has to include myself —and that includes you, whether you know it or not! The energy work that is offered as a result of my own spiritual journey, is deeply intuitive, rooted in Love and infused throughout our session together. Often felt as warm blanket of peace, honoring, in my own way, Usui Reiki, the Japanese energy healing practice.

I deeply care about radical authenticity, and radical self-acceptance. To me, that starts with being curious about our relationship to self, & our own inner critic. Am I comparing myself to my past, or “ideals” of what society’s perception of beauty is? Why is youthfulness seen in a certain light, and aging seen in another? Can I see my beauty and worth just as I am? Where can I acknowledge and release conditioning and seek to honor my true self?

These are important thoughts to consider when choosing to live a life authentically. So to me, your self expression, our experience, and the hair that we co-create in a session is a part of your healing journey --your journey to becoming more You.

We are all unique and special. There is room for us all to get to know ourselves more, and take up space fully owning who we are. That means, the things that make us unique are the things that make us special. This is something that I’ve come to know, understand and own. This work I have come to know and my craft, is unique because I am.

What I have to offer you is more than a haircut, because there is love woven into the fabric of my work, impacting on a level that, I too, am sometimes surprised by. We are all deserving of love, to feel heard and seen, right where we’re at. Thats why my work is Naturally Healing. There’s no wands waved, or hands raised that changes it all, but, to be reminded that we are okay, right where we're at; with compassion, acceptance, and support along the way, we can walk forward feeling lighter. Allow me to support you feeling more yourself when you leave the chair, and when you see that person looking back at you in the mirror.

Christiana Dommeyer

Born on Chumash Land, in the beautiful Los Olivos, California, Christiana is an Intuitive Hairstylist, passionate about supporting people on their journey to a deeper connection with self, by understanding their own unique hair, and hair care needs. Seeing hair care as the medium for co-creation and connection, a session together can be the tangible, and energetic shift, to support or affirm you on your journey.

Her unique offering of energy healing hair care, is a result of her own spiritual journey. It is deeply intuitive, rooted in Love, and infused throughout the session together; honoring, in her own way, Usui Reiki, the Japanese energy healing practice.

Christiana attended Paul Mitchell the School, becoming licensed in 2012, and has since has received training with Masters of Balayage, MoroccanOil Academy, & Kevin Murphy. Beyond formal trainings much of her knowledge comes from hands-on experiences, valuing every encounter as an opportunity for growth.

She views hairstyling as a co-creation, with the idea that this exchange, whether it’s a small trim or a vast change can be just what you need to let go of what no longer serves you.

Her heart’s desire is to create & share relaxing experiences in the salon, alongside a unique hair style to authentically reflect you!
